After years in HR leadership roles, I knew firsthand the frustration of trying to fill contract positions. The "post and pray" approach left us with thin applicant pools and candidates who rarely understood the unique demands of contract work. Quality professionals seemed to avoid contract opportunities, while organizations struggled to find talent who could hit the ground running.
But I also saw the other side of the equation through my own career dreams. I'd always envisioned traveling across Canada, taking 12-18 month contract placements in each province - experiencing our beautiful country while building diverse professional experiences. The freedom and growth potential of strategic contract work fascinated me, yet I watched talented professionals dismiss these opportunities simply because they weren't presented properly.
This dual perspective—understanding both the employer's struggle to find exceptional contract talent and the professional's hesitation to explore contract opportunities—sparked the vision for Momentum Talent Solutions

As a single mom, I understand the importance of meaningful work that fits your life. This perspective shapes how we approach every Momentum placement, ensuring contract roles create lasting value for businesses while advancing careers.
When I'm not momming it or serving as a board member for a local not-for-profit, you'll find me staying active, whether golfing, mountain biking, or playing volleyball.

Outside of work, life is full and joyful. I spend countless hours at the ballpark cheering on my three baseball-loving boys, sharing adventures (and the occasional good glass of wine) with my husband, and soaking up the sun whenever I can.
